Well, similar cables (and usually 6 ft long) sell for a lot more. This cable is a steal, and works great. Hooked up my laptop to the home theater receiver, worked like a charm. No point in paying a lot more money for another brand, this one is the way to go.
Comes with caps for the ends, and they're attached to the cable using a small plastic cord, so you won't loose them.
Tried it with stereo and 5.1 material, at up to 96 kHz sample rate, with no issues.
