I am a Film student and a Freelance Sound Mixer an all I can say is good things about this microphone.I purchased this microphone after some research and comparisons in price and efficiency and I finally decided to choose this microphone over Sennheiser and Azden mainly for the price and previous experience with sennheiser at school.The "normal" feature gives you a better tonal quality than the "tele". The tone is rich and sounds very natural. And as described by another user,the tele feature is thin but still very useful in those situations when your subject is not very close,or when you need to reduce the gain because there is too much noise around you. I use it along with a SHURE FP 42 field mixer and it delivers great audio quality,since the mixer gives you better tonal control of the recording and makes your microphone stand out even more.
