I don't know what this stand was meant to hold, but just a few minutes with my CAD M179 Variable-Pattern Condenser Microphone and it starts to droop. The item has an overall cheap feel and I don't expect it last. I wouldn't buy it again; I should have purchased a more expensive, quality stand.Get more detail about On Stage Stands 7701B Tripod Boom Microphone Stand.
