I have been using this class 10 memory card in a GoPro HD Hero Helmet Camera for skiing in cold conditions. My old class 3 one GB card did not withstand the cold conditions and would freeze up in the middle of use on the mountain. This 8 GB Extreme model does not seem to freeze up even in stormy conditions to 20 degrees F with additional windchill. Also, the transfer rate onto my MacBook is ten times faster than previous.
